I had a party of 8! This place has everything you need, nice and comfortable atmosphere with outdoor seating, service was top notch with our server providing a variety of suggestions and making us feel right at home. Food came promptly and everything was delicious. We will be returning for sure! PS. Try their prickly pear marg :)

Stop by Kips for a leisure lunch and based on the yelp reviews, it was totally worth it. We were there on a Saturday around 1 o’clock and it wasn’t too busy and we’re able to get a table right away. Maria was our server and she did a great job, bringing us water to start and margaritas si after we ordered, they were exceptionally well made. We ordered the beef nachos and had more than enough food for the two of us. Lots of good toppings and it tasted as good as it looked. They have a promotion if you pay with cash, they’ll deduct 3.5% from your bill, which credit card service fee. :-) Highly recommend stopping in for a bite, I can see how it would can get busy but totally worth the wait.

Little roadside places like this are what I look for when traveling. Looking for a great burger on the road and in Pagosa Springs? Kip's has you covered. Friendly staff and one of the best bison burgers I have ever tasted, cooked to perfection. Will be back the next trip through!

Great food and great decor! It was fun to look at all of the license plates and other fun things on the walls. The elk burger was absolutely amazing, and the people pleaser drink lives up to its name! The servers are friendly and the service is fast. It's also nice that Kip's has their own parking lot. Will definitely be returning!

The tacos were amazing! Huge! Stuffed full of good stuff! The beer was cold. Plan for dessert. The peanut butter chocolate pie was so rich, and went well with a malty beer. Our favorite when we visit Pagosa Springs.

Second visit: Went back a couple days later and started with the nachos, still as good as the first time. I also ordered the Diablo tacos and OMG, talk about spicy! I was not prepared for that type of hit, albeit delicious, my mouth did burn for minutes after. The patio was open for seating tonight so we sat there and I enjoyed that more than sitting inside. Definitely worth more than 1 visit. Initial visit: Whoa, had a whole idea in mind as to what we were going to order and share UNTIL... the massive nachos showed up! After munching quite a bit I knew there was no way I'd be able to eat much of the green chili open face burger we were also set to share. The few bites I could get in were delicious though. Service was great, the trainer and trainee both seemed to know what they were doing and worked together. Definitely recommend. But damn, if you get the nachos just tap out lol.

Try the pomegranate margarita and spicy shrimp tacos! They were delicious! The waitress was great with our kids and very prompt with her service.

A brilliant place to go if you are in the area, great food, great service and lovely staff, and if you are lucky you might see some live music, tremendous atmosphere.
